This statue of Our Lady of Victory is located outside of Our Lady of Victory Church on South Main Street (Route 7) in Andover, Ohio. The statue is in a garden behind the church parking lot, to the southeast of the main church building. It depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary, under the title of Our Lady of Victory, holding the Christ Child, with both Mary and Jesus wearing crowns. In the base of the statue is engraved, "Our Lady of Victory pray for us." The statue was dedicated on July 28, 2013 in memory of Davis and Marie Tribby.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is venerated by Christians as the Mother of the Word Incarnate, Our Lord Jesus Christ. As a young girl betrothed to St. Joseph, Mary was visited by the angel Gabriel and told that she would conceive a son by the Holy Ghost, who would be the Son of God. In humble obedience to the divine messenger, Mary replied, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done to me according to thy word." In Bethlehem, her Son was born and was adored by shepherds and kings. As is known throughout the world, this Son, Jesus Christ, went on to suffer on the cross and rise again, offering salvation to the world through Him. Today, Mary is venerated as the Mother of God and Queen of Heaven. The title of Our Lady of Victory was given to Mary by Pope Saint Pius V after her intercession was sought during the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. After the Holy League defeated the Ottoman Turks, the feast of Our Lady of Victory was established on October 7th. The feast was later renamed Our Lady of the Rosary.
