"Súsedská" is the local Slovak dialect commonly spoken by the inhabitants. The name of the lookout tower is carved into the foundation stone laid in 2019 at the highest point of the hill.
THE UNIQUE SHAPE OF THE TRIQUETRA, MODERN AND TIMELESS
The idea of the birth of the new lookout tower, as a symbol of the connection of the inhabitants, was born from the mutual negotiations of three neighbouring municipalities - Hýsly - Ježov - Žádovice. The villages lie at the foot of a "common" hill with an altitude of 310 m. The lookout tower is situated close to this peak. The inspiration for the design of the lookout tower was the symbol "TRIQUETRA", from the Latin "tri" - three and "quetrus" - corner, originally meaning a triangle. In general, it usually means an inseparable connection of three elements, in this figurative sense a close connection of the villages Hýsly - Ježov - Žádovice. Based on a common idea, the Súsedská tower was born and completed in 2021.
OCEL
Around the whole tower there is a railing made of weather-resistant steel called Corten. Rust is desirable in this case, forming a protective surface layer and giving the material a distinctive look and patina.
CONCRETE
The tower tube is triangular in shape and is made of a handsome monolithic reinforced concrete, which provides the tower with high durability and a timeless design. Steel and concrete, these natural materials, together with weathering, will ensure that the tower will live its life and age naturally.
