This bridge, along a footpath to Buttermilk Falls, crosses Hires Run. It was erected at the time of the solar eclipse, on August 21, 2017.

The park has parking, trails, picnic pavilion, and rest facilities. Visitors are welcome from 8:00am until dusk. The bridge and falls can be viewed from a wheelchair friendly trail, but the bridge is not wheelchair accessible.

The property was once owned by Fred McFeely, and his grandchild, Fred Rogers visited often. There are themed trails, with inspirational quotes.
