The Vinkeveen fire brigade consists of various volunteers who are on standby whenever necessary, the unit is equipped with a fire boat which is also located here, the boat is used when the "neighbours" ask for it, which is the ambulance service next door, the boat is also used for various rescues and of course fires on one of the islands in the area.
