Long Description:
Photos taken on 25 August 2021 when it was well over 100 degrees outside. Took advantage of free admission to NPS sites to visit Fort McHenry for the third time. The memorial consists of a bronze plaque. There is a tree which was planted in 1932.

The plaque says, "Commanded 3rd Maryland Brigade which checked the British Army advance in the Battle of North Point, September 12th, 1814, and prevented the junction of the British Army and Navy opposite Fort McHenry."
