The tiny village of Drumlithie lies in the rural area of The Mearns in eastern Scotland in what was formerly Kincardineshire, and now the southern part of Aberdeenshire.

The bowling green and club serving the village lies on the eastern fringe on Station Road and features a clubhouse on the western side. Both eastern and southern sides overlook open countryside, with Glenbervie Road to the north.

Drumlithie lies just north of the A90 dual-carriageway route, some five miles south-west of the coastal town of Stonehaven.
