A psalm of David on a plaque at the Roman Catholic Church. It is Psalm 121, 1-2 and the text reads:

"Eg eygu míni hevji upp til fjallanna, hvaðani kemur mín hjálp?
Hjálp mín frá Harranum kemur, skapara himmals og jarðar."


English:
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

The plaque is made of bronze and placed on a stone wall that surrounds the church. You only see the plaque if you walk down a small path to the nearby park.
