John Michael Fuore, was the first Korean War casualty from Lenox, MA. He had served in the US Navy during WWII and enlisted in the US Army to serve in the Korean War in the Armored Division of the 2nd Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Infantry Division. He was killed in action and his body was brought home and buried in St. Ann's Cemetery in Lenox, MA.
