Eight-armed cast iron gas street lighting column. It was created by the sculptor E. Veselý according to the design by architect A. Linsbauer. The candelabrum is one of the few preserved in Prague. It is decorated with four female figures and eight neo-Baroque arms with lamps. Gas lamps were replaced by electric ones in the past. In recent years, some of the gas lamps have been restored again, as they add significantly to the spirit of old Prague. The column stands on the Hradcany Square near the entrance to Prague Castle. Another similar column stands a few hundred metres higher on Loretánská Street.
