The sign stands in front of an example that appears to be a casualty of the freeze of 2021, but Mother Nature will still put it to good use It provides a sound byte as to why too many of these are a problem for the local ecosystem, and how the park addresses that. The Lost Pines Trail is a loop trail of about a half mile that will take you to the shores of the lake and up to something historical that you'll have to find yourself.
