In the village Miðvágur is an old stonewalled silo. The silo consists only of walls and an entrance, no roof.
There has also been an old farm, but it is now gone. Therefore, the stonewalled silo now stands on a small grassland, and other residential houses have been built nearby, as there is no longer any agriculture.
Stone walls have been a common construction method in the Faroe Islands, and the old farm has probably been built in the same way.
