Ethel N. Koch, 100, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Elmer and Anna (Bishop) Faunce.
She was born May 25, 1906 at Towanda, Kansas and died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Perry Memorial Hospital.
Ethel celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends on May 28, 2006 at the First Christian Church in Perry.
She and Glenn Allen Koch were married on July 7, 1926 in Newkirk, Oklahoma.
Ethel enjoyed people and working in the public. She had worked at the Palace Café, Jack Smith's Ten Cent Store, Famous, Penney's, Kraemer's, Zorba's, Bennett's and the Dan-D Motel.
Ethel was a member of the First Christian Church and the Business Women's Guild. She also was an active volunteer.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 in the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John P. McLemore will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Perry. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
Ethel is survived by one daughter, Betty Beasley and her husband, Ellis, of Perry, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Kristine Kay Hoffman and her husband, John , of Gladstone, Missouri, and Keith E. Newton and his wife, Patricia, and Lyle A. Newton and his wife, Ann, all of Perry, Oklahoma; three step-grandchildren, Ellison Beasley, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Janene Bridwell, of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Dan Beasley, of Perry, Oklahoma; nine great-grandchildren, Angela Dickson, of Gladstone, Missouri, Derek Hinson, of Kansas City, Missouri, Terence Newton, Lauren Newton and Lynette Wosmek, all of Perry, Oklahoma, Tina Quiros Newton of Costa Rica, Eddie Spaulding and Darrin Spaulding, both of Fort Worth, Texas and Shannon Spaulding, of Guthrie, Oklahoma; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Glenn, who died May 30, 1977, Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters and one brother.
