The town of Young, pop. 660, is an isolated farming and ranching community. The Baptist congregation was organized in 1919. This is their second church building in the area. A few hundred feet to the west is the original church building which is now a historical museum. The current building retains much of the same style but is considerably larger. Behind it is a community cemetery, in use as long as the church has been on the site. There isn't an internet presence for this congregation.
