Plaque on right:

This bell, cast in 1902, hung at the Haltom City homeplace of Bill and Bertha Ermis, charter members of St. Philip.

Their daughter, Lillian Allen, donated it to the church when the Ermis property was sold in the summer of 2000.

Plaque on left:

The bell tower is given in loving memory of James F. Garvin, organizing pastor of St. Philip Presbyterian Church, who served from 1956-1979.
