en: "The Cabrera Bridge is located on the Carrera del Darro and, without a doubt, is one of the most attractive places in Granada, both for its surroundings and for the magnificent buildings that surround it. This bridge joins the Carrera del Darro with the neighborhood of La Churra.

Through the Cabrera Bridge you access the Sta. Inés hill, where you can visit the Casa de Agreda, from the end of the 16th century, residence of the Twenty-Fourth Knight of Granada D. Diego de Vera Agreda y Vargas. In front of this house we find the convent of Santa Inés, which was founded by Mr. Bazón.

The Cabrera Bridge has a single arch, slightly lowered, with a brick thread, and has a high masonry parapet and brick curbs. Its name is due to don Pedro Cabrera y Jaques de Mansilla, commander of Ocaña, who was a lieutenant of the Generalife.

Nearby is the Espinosa bridge that could have been built, like the Cabrera bridge, when the urban remodeling of the Carrera del Darro took place at the beginning of the 17th century. This remodeling was carried out after the destruction caused by the explosion of a powder magazine that was next to the church of San Pedro, in 1590, and after the continuous landslides, the riverbed was diverted, widening the street."
