en: " The Espinosa Bridge is located in the lowest part of the Sabika hill, crowned by the Alhambra. This bridge is located between the Cabrera Bridge and the Puerta de Los Tableros , in La Carrera del Darro, and served to unite the Albaycín neighborhood with the La Churra neighborhood.

The Espinosa Bridge has a single arch, with a 9 meter span barrel vault. The arch, which is made of ashlar masonry, is slightly lowered, with a brick thread, and has a high masonry parapet and brick curbs.

Its name is due to the Espinosa family, who had properties in the area since the beginning of the 16th century. Among the illustrious personalities of this family there is a wide saga of apothecaries, among which Juan, Bartolomé, Salvador, and Clemente de Espinosa stood out, all of them named Apothecary of the Hospital de los Reyes de Granada , although the only one who did not practice was Juan de Espinosa for being in Guadix."
