en: "Carrera del Darro is one of the oldest streets in Granada, as well as one of the busiest due to its indisputable beauty and historical importance. Going through it is a walk that no visitor should miss, as it allows you to contemplate the imposing figure of the Alhambra on top of the forests that surround it as well as listen to the murmur of the Darro River that runs parallel to its left side.

The waters of the river descend clean and calm, under the ancient bridges of the Aljibillo, Chirimias, Cabrera and Espinosa that connect the race with the Churra neighborhood. You can also see on its left bank the remains of the Cadí bridge, from the 11th century, which connected the Alhambra with the Albaicín neighbourhood.

In front of the Espinosa bridge are the Bañuelo Arab baths, and a little further on, the Santa Catalina de Zafra convent and the Castril house, an example of 16th-century Renaissance beauty, which is currently home to the archaeological museum. In front of them is the church of San Pedro and San Pablo, a magnificent work of Mudejar style. Finally, the race opens in a square that connects with the Paseo de los Tristes.
