Long Description:
The Eastland County Westbound Safety Rest stop, about eight miles east of Ranger, serves westbound traffic on I-20. It is called a "Safety Rest Stop" because storm shelters are among the facilities provided. This flora and fauna information sign is on the southeast end of the entry plaza, and unlike many such signs the visitor is invited to guess the identity of Eastland County plants and animals! The answers are at the bottom of the sign, upside down. If it had been me they would have used ROT13.
Visit Instructions:
Take a photo of yourself (and others) at the waymark and feel free to share any additional information or that is not contained on the sign or your experience generally.
