The image depicts the west side of the Charles Bridge. In the foreground on the left side is a statue of St. Adalbert - the patron saint of Bohemia second to St. Wenceslaus.

Further back the Lesser Town Bridge Towers with the gate to the Lesser Town, the towers and dome of St. Nicholas Church behind.
