A You are Here mural and map is painted on the east side of the Chamber of Commerce, at Rt. 66 and 5th St.

On the east wall of the Chamber of Commerce is a very big and detailed street map of Tucumcari. The mural was painted and signed by Doug & Sharon Quarles, who have painted many other wonderful murals in town. The mural is about 50' long, with the map portion about 25' long, 10' high.
An outline in dark brown highlights the tan colored map, that shows many of the city streets, with a legend on the left telling you which location/attraction/building corresponds with the letter. This You are Here is at letter A, the Chamber of Commerce.
The right side of the mural has a big "Welcome to Tucumcari", and "AKA Ragtown & Six Shooter Siding/Where Legends Begin". Cactus and native plants are painted below, with a painted rifle "leaning" against the brick landscaping border. On the left is a depiction of a Native American man and woman, and the text "Check out the legend of Tucum and Cari".
