These Bible quotes are on the stained glass windows at Saint Patrick Cathedral on State Street in downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The cathedral was built in 1904-07, and is the cathedral for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg. Originally part of the Diocese of Philadelphia, the Harrisburg Diocese was created in 1868 by Blessed Pius IX. St. Patrick's Cathedral replaced an older church built on the same site in 1827. The interior of the church was renovated in 1976.

On the stained glass windows are various verses from the Sacred Scriptures. These include the following:

Matthew 2:2 - "For we have seen His star in the east and we are come to adore Him." This verse is from Saint Matthew's narrative of the nativity of Christ when the Magi visit King Herod to inquire regarding the whereabouts of the new-born king. 1John 5:7 - "There are three that gave testimony in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." This verse from Saint John's epistle describes the Holy Trinity. The window on which this verse is written shows Saint Patrick holding a shamrock and preaching to the people of Ireland.
