That heritage inspired the likes of Jane Austen, Beatrix Potter, R.F. Delderfield and many others. Our shop is situated on the High Street in prime position and has a lovely collection of cards and gifts (lots for the Tintin fans) as well as a carefully selected range of over 8000 books. Our Manager Carl East has over 25 years of experience in the book trade at both Ottakar's and Waterstones, he and his colleagues are happy to help and offer recommendations for you.

Winstones also have access to a further 500,000 titles that can be with us the next working day or posted on to you. The team have particular expertise in Children's books, Fiction and Science Fiction."
