This small chapel is actually quite new, having been built by a local artisan.

This is a very small chapel located along a sleepy country road a mile or so to the northwest of Neutrauchburg. You have a great view to the south (of the city of Isny and a mountain range known as the Nagelfluhkette. There is one bench for prayer/reflection and a tiny altar. The flowers inside are changed frequently, always in season!

The chapel was constructed in 1989 by Gerhard Konzelmann. He was a television journalist, who died in 2008, is best known as the Middle East correspondent for ARD. The chapel is also known as the Hofkapelle Neutrauchburg-Menzelhofer Berg.
