This Eagle Scout Project is a boarder constructed of wooden beams to outline the landmark of an old homestead at Yates Mill in Raleigh, North Carolina. The boarder prevents vegetation from taking over the site and helps to preserve the history. The site is now part of a county park and is open to the public. The current hours are posted on their website. The plaque reads:
