Dean's Shaved Ice sells snowballs. Snowballs are fruit flavored juices in a cup full of shaved ice. This is a common item in the Baltimore area. A snowball is very similar to a smoothie.

I was born in the 1930's and I had snowballs as a kid and to this day I still eat snowballs. My favorite is chocolate with marshmallow on top.
Nothing like a snowball when the temperature is in the high 80'S or above.
