This Lions Club International Marker is located at Exhibition Park at the centre of the four ball diamonds on the fairgrounds in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The marker is on the concession stand and bathroom building that serves the ball fields during game nights.
The Abbotsford Lions have been serving the Abbotsford community since 1944, they participate and volunteer for projects and charities around the city like Adopt-A-Block, Canada Day Parade, Abbotsford Hospice Society Hike for Hospice, Lunch with the Bunch for Seniors, King Traditional School Fun Fair and eyeglasses donations.
The pavilion is dedicated to Lion Tom Ruben who passed away in 1996 after being a Lion for 51 years. The pavilion was dedicated on April 1991.
