Ida Jane Davis was born October 23, 1912 in Corum, Oklahoma to Will & Cora
Stewart. She has lived in Corum, Hastings, Fleetwood and Grady, Oklahoma all
before age 10, when she moved to Edmond after the loss of her father. She was
married to Willie Davis on October 29, 1932. They celebrated 51 years together
before his death in 1984. She was an active member of First United Methodist
Church since 1923, and continued to be active until her health wouldn?t allow
her to attend anymore. She got her first car in 1932 and tells the story of
first driving at the age of 12. She got her 1st tv in 1946 and first phone in
1941. We have decided that it just makes sense for her to be #1 in our lives.
Thank you, Grandma, for always being the greatest Grandma we could ever wish
for. We Love You!!!
