This German Freya-Fahrstuhl Radar was part of the Funkmessstellung "Hase" during the Second World War. It was active from 1942 to 1945.

The drawing on the information board shows a regular Freya Radar. The Freya-Fahrstuhl type was much higher and was very rare.

The concrete ring is a remnant of a German Freya radar from the Second World War.
The Freya radar was specially constructed for observation over large distances. It had a range of 150 kilometres.
Together with other types of radar, they formed the radarstation "Stellung Hase" near Harderwijk.
