The Gothic Revival style building is constructed of stone blocks with a cross gable roof. A set of steps leads up to a triple entrance. Each entrance is identical and framed by a Gothic arch. Above the triple entrance is a huge highly complex multi-part stained glass window. Above the window is a statue of St. Francis set within an niche.
On the southeast corner is a tower which has a from bottom to top: a basement window, two lancet windows, a large window within a Gothic arch, a three small rectangular windows, and a belfry with three louvered windows. The tower is topped by a tapered octagonal spire with dormer windows at the base of each side. The spire is topped with a cross.
The west side has an extension below the main block with a two level wing with a gable roof. The lower level has two lancet windows and the upper level has a single large window within a Gothic arch. Then a block with for large Gothic windows and a cross gable end with a large stained glass window. The main block has four smaller windows above the extension.
