This mural was inspired by a photo takenf around 1912 from the collection of Joe Herring Jr. The photo captures a proud and independent Harry on Water Street in downtown Kerrville. He is seated in a customized vehicle he designed and built himself, while still in high school. He's dressed sharply - perhaps on his way to a Saturday dance.
