"The Real County Public Library Leakey is located at 225 Main St.

The library system holds over 18,329 materials including adult books (regular, LARGE PRINT, paperback, and audio books on CD), young adult, junior and children's books and audio, and DVDs.

In total, over 10,500 items were checked out from either the Library (8,986) or as ebooks from the Lone Star Digital Library (1,536).Over 16,089 people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, and/or access the Internet through one of the library's 10 public computers (more than 4,500 computer uses). Many patrons use their own devices using our 24/7 state-of-the-art wi-fi service and we recorded over 6,000 wi-fi connections this year. Other patrons come to the library for services such as lamination, and CD repair, make photocopies (color and black and white), or to fax, scan or email. Yet others come or return to participate in Summer Reading Program or story hour, or to attend a training class or workshop, an author presentation, or to view a Library exhibit."
