Escadaria Selarón, also known as the 'Selaron Steps', is a set of decorated steps in Rio de Janeiro. The tiles decorating the steps are the work of Chilean-born artist Jorge Selarón, who states that it is "my tribute to the Brazilian people".

In 1990, as a side project, Selarón began to renovate the worn stone steps in front of his residence (on the Rua Manoel Camiero) with bits of blue, green, and yellow tiles - the colors of the Brazilian flag. At first the artist scavenged material from construction sites and sold small paintings to fund the work, but as the fame of the project grew tiles were donated by visitors from all over the world. At the time of Selarón's death there were over two thousand tiles in place, stretching over 125 meters and 215 steps.

The Escadaria Selarón consistently ranks as one of the most popular attractions in Rio, and there is always a crowd here. The waymark coordinates are at the bottom of the steps.
