Long Description:
A helicopter landing pad is at the southwest corner of the The Villages Regional Hospital property on the north side of El Camino Real in The Villages, Florida. The square landing surface is concrete with a white medical cross painted in the center and lighting on its corners. There is a windsock on a pole southwest of the helipad. The vertiport, which includes a neatly manicured lawn, is enclosed with a wooden rail fence surrounded by low, leafy shrubs. Posted signs on the fence read:

WARNING
Helicopter
Operation Area.
High wind and noise area.
Risk of injury and
property damage.
Stay Back 200 Feet.

A street sign near the adjacent Visitor Parking lot entrance reads:

LOW FLYING
HELICOPTERS

WATCH FOR
HIGH WINDS

A 2018 Bell helicopter (Registration N513MT) was parked on the pad during the time of my visit. The aircraft paint scheme was blue with upward sweeping orange stripes. Featured near the back of the body on each side, an anthropomorphized alligator is in action as a flight medic complete with tools of the trade, a white lab coat and scarf billowing in the downwash, and its outfit topped off by a leather aviator helmet with goggles. Other identifying marks include UFHealth, ShandsCair, and Med-Trans Corporation text logos. A white Rod of Asclepius in a red star appears on both sides of the helicopter's tailfin.
