There are two similar zinc headstones in this little cemetery, each commemorating one individual. This monument is set in memory of Mark M. Mouriquand, who died at age 23. Beside this large zinc monument is a small "lamb" zinc monument for Willie Mark, the son of Mark and his wife Osa, who was born six months after Mark's death and who lived but two weeks. One can only imagine the tears that were shed here.
