This is a General Electric 2 axle diesel - electric locomotive. Designed primarily for switching duties. Produced by General Electric Transportation from 1941-1974. The 25 Tonner capable of switching cars around many sidings. The 25 Toner were nicknamed "critters" due to their small size. Top speed is about 20 MPH. Many of these are retired and scrapped, some are preserved in museums.

This has the text Locomotive No. 1 on the cab. I believe this one is from the Port of Corpus Christi. I have seen old pictures of this locomotive and where the Notice sticker is, is where it used to say Port of Corpus Christi.
