This quote from Saint Paul's Epistle to the Corinthians is etched into the stone above the main door of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, located on the corner of North McKean and East New Castle Streets in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The quote is from the 16th chapter of Saint Paul's First Epistle to the Corinthians, verse 13, and says, "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, do manfully, and be strengthened."
The 16th chapter of this Epistle is its final chapter wherein Saint Paul sends salutations to various people, as well as admonishing the recipients of the epistle to live Christian lives, including to, "let all your things be done in charity."
