When you are in Odense you can't miss the Odense Castle. In the main park (Kongens Have) and next to the central Odense train station you will find this monumental building. Beautiful to view and great location, worthwhile a visit when you are in the area. The city council uses the location, it is not open to the public.

According to the Danish national monument register:
"The four-winged building complex with a connecting church wing to St. Hans Church and the extension to the south in the extension of the east wing (the east wing with connecting building to St. Hans Church, medieval, but rebuilt around 1720; south and west wings from the Middle Ages and around 1560-80, rebuilt around 1720 ; the north wing newly built"
