A year ago, on June 21, 2019, a new monument "Anchor-Heart" was solemnly opened in Larnaca on the Finikoudes embankment.

"It was given to us by the city of Odessa as a sign of friendship and good relations, as well as the fact that Odessa and Larnaca are twin cities since 2004. Twin cities are those cities between which separate agreements on cooperation in various fields have been concluded and which can also apply to international organizations for support of joint projects".
