[ES] “Con sus 181 metros de altura y sus 35 plantas, la torre Caleido, situada junto al complejo Cuatro Torres Business Area, es el séptimo edificio más alto de España. En ella destaca no sólo su original estructura de T invertida sino también su espacio exterior, compuesto por unas amplias zonas verdes de 33 000 m2 conocidas como Parque Caleido. La zona comercial y de restauración cuenta, desde el 29 de septiembre de 2022, con una amplia variedad de firmas de moda y propuestas gastronómicas de cocinas de todo el mundo en sus 16 000 m2 de superficie.
La construcción de esta torre se apoya en lo que se conoce como blue architecture, una corriente arquitectónica que conjuga el bienestar de las personas con el respeto al medio ambiente. El proyecto, diseñado por los estudios de arquitectura Fenwick Iribarren y Serrano-Suñer Arquitectura, está inspirado en el monolito de la película 2001: Odisea del espacio, de Stanley Kubrick, así como en los edificios Seagram, de Nueva York, y el John Hancock Center, de Chicago. Se trata de un prisma cuadrangular revestido de dos láminas de vidrio negro que crean entre ellas una cámara de aire que posibilita una climatización más eficiente, lo que le ha valido la certificación medioambiental LEED en la categoría oro.
La vista de poniente del edificio se parece a una T invertida. En la parte superior del zócalo se sitúan las zonas ajardinadas, que sirven también de campus para el Instituto de Empresa (IE) , así como de acceso público a las diferentes áreas del edificio, en el que el Grupo Quirón Salud dispone de un centro enfocado a la medicina deportiva, Olympia.”

[EN] “Standing 181 metres high with 35 floors, the Caleido Tower, located next to the Cuatro Torres Business Area complex, is the seventh tallest building in Spain. Highlights of this building include not only its original inverted T-shape structure but also its outdoor space, composed of large green areas spread over 33,000 m2, known as Parque Caleido. The shopping and restaurant area, opened on 29 September 2022, offers a wide variety of fashion boutiques and restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world, spread over an area of 16,000 m2.
The construction of this tower is based on what is known as blue architecture, an architectural approach that combines the well-being of people with respect for the environment. The project, designed by the architectural studios Fenwick Iribarren and Serrano-Suñer Arquitectura, is inspired by the monolith of the film 2001: Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick as well as the Seagram Buildings in New York and the John Hancock Center in Chicago. It is a quadrangular prism covered with two panels of black glass that create between them an air chamber allowing for more efficient air conditioning, earning this building a gold class LEED environmental certification.
The west view of the building looks like an inverted T. Sitting atop the plinth are the garden areas, which will also provide a campus for the Institute of Business (IE) , as well as public access to the different areas of the building, in which Grupo Quiron Salud will have a centre dedicated to sports medicine, Olympia.”
