EN: The Wysswasser power plant is located southwest of Fiesch at the confluence of the Wysswasser and Rotten rivers.
The power plant has been in operation since 2012. The two Francis turbines produce an average of 8.2 GW per year.
The operator is Kraftwerk Wysswasser AG. Among others, the municipality of Fiesch and Gommerkraftwerke AG, which operates several other hydropower plants in the region, are shareholders in this company.
