Queens Gardens
Queen's Gardens is located at the east end of Ironmarket.
The site was purchased for £750 by public subscription in 1897, the year of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and the formal gardens were laid out in 1899.

Queens Gardens contains a statue of Queen Victoria funded by Sir Alfred Seale Haslam and unveiled by Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia on 5th November 1903.
It is the only park within the ring road and it won the Britain in Bloom Judges' Award for Horticultural Excellence in 2003.
