"Gezicht Havengebied Spakenburg is een van rijkswege beschermd dorpsgezicht in Spakenburg in de Nederlandse provincie Utrecht. De procedure voor aanwijzing werd gestart op 21 april 2005. Het gebied werd op 18 februari 2011 definitief aangewezen. Het beschermd gezicht beslaat een oppervlakte van 8,2 hectare.
Panden die binnen een beschermd gezicht vallen krijgen niet automatisch de status van beschermd monument. Wel zal de gemeente het bestemmingsplan aanpassen om nieuwe ontwikkelingen in het gebied te reguleren. De gezichtsbescherming richt zich op de stedenbouwkundige en cultuurhistorische waardering van een gebied en wil het toekomstig functioneren daarvan veiligstellen."

"View Havengebied Spakenburg is a nationally protected village view in Spakenburg in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The procedure for designation was started on April 21, 2005. The area was definitively designated on February 18, 2011. The protected view covers an area of 8.2 hectares .
Buildings that fall within a protected face do not automatically receive the status of protected monument. However, the municipality will adjust the zoning plan to regulate new developments in the area. Face protection focuses on the urban planning and cultural-historical valuation of an area and aims to safeguard its future functioning."
