From the junction of State Highway 220 and Dry Creek Road at N42 32.812 W107 05.398, drive northwestward for about 5.6 miles. The benchmark is about 85 feet to the northeast of the bend in Dry Creek Road. The disk is set in the top of a square concrete monument that projects about 3 inches above the ground. No grass has taken root in the area directly around the concrete monument, which makes it fairly easy to spot the benchmark given the barren sandy circle it is surrounded by.
