In the movie Octopussy (1983), James Bond (Roger Moore) arrives here to visit Octopussy.
Upon is arrival, the tuk-tuk driver mentions the name of the hotel. Later, 007 plays in the hotel casino and is seen having dinner with Magda here, by the swimming pool.
The hotel is part of the palatial complex belonging to the royal family of Udaipur. Part of it was transformed in a museum, but the segment used as a luxury hotel is off limits to common visitors. Provided coordinates are from the best spot to observe the external walls of the hotel.
