The Nautical Flag Pole is white anodised aluminium, and bedded into the pink pavers of the Cenotaph near Lake Macquarie. It has a black cleat that would be used to hold the hoisted main flag - the two ropes for the cross-spar flags were hitched up to a much higher cleat. No flags flying when I was there, though they would have been two months before.
