The Orkney Wireless Museum is house in a small stone building near the harbor in Kirkwall. The museum is dedicated to displaying the history and evolution of wireless communication developed the a private collector Jim MacDonald. Donations in lieu of admission.

The collection contains military, maritime and and domestic wireless communication devices. Some interesting examples is a spy briefcase, a U boat radio, a crystal radio, and a collection of domestic radios made by Emerson, Philco, etc.
