Newhaven is the tender port serving Edinburgh. Ships anchor about 1.5 miles offshore. Tenders take about 20 minutes to reach the the port of Newhaven from the ship.

Edinburgh is uphill to the south of the port. If you stay in Newhaven-Leith area the most visited attraction is the Royal Yacht Britannia which is docked about 2 miles to the east in the district of Leith.
