This part of the TransCanada Trail is located in and around the town of Eastend, famous for the T Rex skeletal remains that have been discovered in the hills nearby, which drove the Royal Saskatchewan Museum to build their T Rex Centre a few km outside of Eastend.

A particularly nice segment of this trail starts at the plank bridge over the Frenchman River makes a nice loop over to the road bridge also over the Frenchman River. The trail is nice and flat, scenery is very nice, trail is smooth - it's a nice way to walk off your dinner without committing to a lot of kilometers.
