In 1955 this car would have been produced with a small block hemispherical engine. Thus the name Firedome. The only other identification is the name Powerflite on the trunk, indicating it had an automatic transmission. In this model year the cars had two toned paint schemes. Most of the finish on this car has been burnt off by the sun but of few protected spots suggest this car had a black and red paint scheme, common for the time. The car still has tires on the wheels, but they are sinking into the dirt. The hood ornament has been removed.
