Julius C. Alford was fifty-six years old at the time of his death, which sadly was on Christmas Eve. His Woodman of the World monument is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut limbs, set on a base of four cut logs that are adorned with leaves and ivy. The marker is worn and the inscription is barely legible.
